Carillon Welcomes Beverly Young as Cramer Mountain Director
Beverly Young is Executive Director of Carillon Assisted Living of Cramer Mountain
Carillon Assisted Living has named Beverly Young, a Belmont resident and elder care specialist, as executive director of its Cramer Mountain assisted living and Alzheimer’s care community.
Young joins Carillon after a successful five-year stint as chief administrator of a skilled nursing facility in Louisa, Virginia, where she served on the board of the Chamber of Commerce. Originally from Charleston, West Virginia, Young obtained a master’s degree in healthcare administration from Marshall University.
Of the transition from managing a skilled nursing facility to an assisted living community, Young says: “What I so enjoyed about skilled nursing was helping rehab patients get healthy and strong enough to return home safely and live independently. Now, my focus will be on welcoming seniors to a community that encourages and enables a healthy and independent life. It feels like a natural progression for me as a caretaker and administrator.”
Carillon Assisted Living of Cramer Mountain will host a Wine and Cheese Reception in Beverly’s honor on Thursday, June 26 from 4-6 p.m. The community is located at 500 Cramer Mountain Road in Cramerton. Call to RSVP at 704-823-5000.
