They cater to Mother's likes and she is and always has been a picky eater. Carillon is ALWAYS very clean and all the people working here are very pleasant and nice. See Less
September 2013	Knightdale	The last thing we wanted to do was to put my mother into a facility. See More Then I visited Carillon of Knightdale. After seeing the facility and the residents, and to find out they could accept her, my heart was over flowing with joy! It has been difficult for her giving up her home and being dependent upon others. She loves living at Carillon and the staff is wonderful! It feels like one big happy family. She is teaching other residents to play board games; has made many friends; and feels like she has a new lease on life. As her daughter, my heart is overflowing and so grateful that her quality of life is so good at 91 years of age. She can celebrate life! And we're so thankful to Carillon for designing a wonderful facility and hiring the best of caregivers. I continue to recommend it to everyone! See Less

September 2013	Cramerton	Carillon Assisted Living in Cramerton provides superb assisted living care for my Mother. See More The facility is clean, comfortable, and diverse in meeting the needs of the resident and the family. Most importantly, the staff at Carillon in Cramerton is compassionate, patient, kind and skilled in meeting these needs. The quality of the facility is certainly important, but equally important is the quality of the service. My family has found the staff to go the extra mile for our Mom and for us. We visit our Mom almost daily and find the staff to be consistently attentive, understanding, and knowledgeable regarding our Mom's daily activities and behavior. Each and every time we enter the Garden Place we are told the type of day she is having and any issues or concerns. The Director of the Garden Place, Tina, without exception knows the type of day our Mom has had and if she has any special needs. We have watched her express compassionate concern for all residents of the Garden Place and always with a smile and a tender voice expressing genuine concern. She has a finger on the pulse of the residents and is quite knowledgeable about the progression of Alzheimer's. We always hear from other staff about our Mom, even though they may not be working in the Garden Place on that particular day. The feeling you have when you walk into Carillon and especially into the Garden Place is that you have returned to a family rather than to an institution. In our opinion, this is what sets Carillon apart from all other assisted living facilities. Tina creates a culture in the Garden Place where the residents feel a sense of family care by the caregivers. We are well aware that the culture of the Garden Place is a direct result of the leadership and does not happen by accident. See Less

See More It would be nice if the food was a bit more flavorful, but I understand it is difficult to provide this type of menu with a large group to feed 3 times per day. The Garden Place caregivers make home cooked snacks almost everyday for the residents which is a very nice touch for those living there. Thank you. See Less

See More Every caregiver is compassionate and familiar with my mothers care, state of mind, emotion and needs. Even the administrative staff is well aware of how she is doing at Carillon and what she is experiencing day to day. The Director of the Garden Place in Cramerton is superb and her compassion and exemplary standards for the residents is reflected in her staff. See Less
